What we offer.

Pure Technique

The “Blue Thursday” pure technique session is a great way to start your week.

The focus is on drills and technical work, with plenty of recovery time and lots of guidance to help you individualize and refine your swimming technique.

A common mistake swimmers make is rushing through drills while trying to keep up with the swimmers ahead of them. Resist that temptation. Take your time and focus on YOUR swimming. Leave your ego and testosterone in the locker room and give your technique the attention it deserves.

You’ll need all your “toys” for this session: fins, pull buoy, paddles, band, and a Tempo Trainer if you have one.

There may also be some specific pacing work during these sessions, but sometimes the goal will actually be to slow you down or help you feel certain aspects of your stroke. The objective is always to help you focus on specific technical points.

The coach is there during the session to give you feedback on how you perform the drills and provide guidance on your swimming technique.

If you would like a more complete assessment of your technique and individualized corrections, sign up for a private video analysis and technique correction session.
